Running now through October 2019
The annual Autumn leaf change is the most beautiful time of the year at Burr Oak Lake. Climb aboard, sit back and relax as we take you for a scenic ride around Athens’ northernmost beauty and see for yourself. During this 1-hour pontoon cruise, your interpretive tour guide will treat you to some little-known facts about the valley before the lake was created.
This is a great activity for families and people of all ages. Bring binoculars and a camera to capture the color and wildlife.
Passengers will board at Burr Oak Lodge & Conference Center.
$15 Adult / $8 Child (12 & Under)
Reservations are required. Minimum of 2 passengers aboard is required for the tour to launch. Maximum 8 passengers per tour. Tips to guides are encouraged.
*Private tours available by appointment
PRO TIP: Guests with mobility issues — or those just wanting to avoid walking up the large hill in front of the Lodge — may park at the Lodge Boat Ramp to board the pontoon.
